The Company may use information to:

  • Provide requested services, estimates, scheduling, and customer support.
  • Respond to inquiries and communicate with you.
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site.
  • Measure marketing performance and understand website visitor behavior.

Tracking Technologies

The Site may use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies, including analytics and advertising tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and other comparable technologies used to understand website activity and improve marketing performance. Privacy policies should disclose tracking pixel usage, explain how data is used and shared, and provide user rights and opt-out mechanisms.

These technologies may collect information about your browser, device, pages visited, time spent on the Site, links clicked, and interactions with advertisements or forms. Depending on applicable law and your location, some of these technologies may be treated as sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling activity and may require notice, consent, or an opt-out mechanism.

HomePros Site-ID Disclosure

The Company may use HomePros Site-ID and the HomePros Site-ID Pixel as part of its marketing and audience measurement activities. HomePros Site-ID is designed to function similarly to commonly used website marketing technologies and may use commercially available data and identity-resolution technology intended to support compliance with applicable privacy standards.

HomePros Site-ID is used for legitimate advertising, customer engagement, attribution, analytics, and audience targeting purposes. Based on information provided by HomePros, the technology is intended to focus on general household and consumer profile insights and is not intended to collect sensitive personal information such as financial account details, medical records, or biometric data.

Consumer data collected through the HomePros Site-ID Pixel must not be resold by the Company. If the Company's agreement with HomePros ends, any consumer data collected through the HomePros Site-ID Pixel will be deleted within 30 days following termination, subject to any applicable legal retention requirements.

The Company may collect personal information from the following sources:

  • Directly from you when you submit forms or communicate with the Company.
  • Automatically from your browser or device when you use the Site.
  • From advertising, analytics, CRM, call tracking, and lead management vendors.
  • From commercially available data providers, identity-resolution providers, and public or widely available sources where permitted by law.

Privacy laws such as the CCPA require privacy policies to identify categories of information collected, sources, purposes, and how information is shared or sold during the prior 12 months.

How Information Is Shared

The Company may disclose information to:

  • Service providers and contractors that help operate the Site, host data, provide analytics, run advertising campaigns, manage leads, process communications, or support business operations.
  • Advertising and marketing partners to measure campaign effectiveness, build audiences, and deliver relevant advertising.
  • Professional advisors, legal authorities, or other parties when necessary to comply with law, protect rights, investigate fraud, or complete a business transaction.

The Company does not sell personal information for money. However, some data sharing involving cookies, pixels, advertising technology, analytics providers, or audience-building tools may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" under certain state privacy laws.

Consumer Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence and applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Know the categories of personal information collected about you, the sources of that information, the business purposes for collection, and the categories of third parties to whom it is disclosed.
  • Request access to specific pieces of personal information, subject to applicable exceptions.
  • Request deletion of personal information, subject to legal and operational exceptions.
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information, where applicable.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and, in some states, opt out of targeted advertising or certain profiling activities.
  • Limit the use or disclosure of sensitive personal information where required by applicable law.
  • Receive equal service and non-discriminatory treatment for exercising privacy rights.

State privacy laws commonly require businesses to notify consumers about collection and use of data and provide an option to opt out of selling, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling, depending on the law.

How to Exercise Your Rights

To submit a privacy request, contact the Company using the methods listed below:

California guidance states that businesses subject to the CCPA must provide instructions in their privacy policy for exercising privacy rights and designated request methods, and businesses that sell or share personal information must provide a clear "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" mechanism.

If required by applicable law, the Site will provide a clear and accessible opt-out mechanism, such as a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link, consent banner, preference center, or other legally recognized method. Where required, the Company will also honor valid browser-based privacy signals, such as Global Privacy Control, for opt-out requests.

The Company may need to verify your identity before responding to certain requests. Authorized agents may submit requests on behalf of consumers where permitted by law, subject to verification and documentation requirements.

Retention

The Company retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Any consumer data collected through the HomePros Site-ID Pixel will be deleted within 30 days after termination of services with HomePros, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Third-Party Websites and Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party tools. The Company is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties, and users should review the privacy policies of those third parties before providing information.

Data Security

The Company uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and the Company does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site. If the Company learns that it has collected personal information from a child in violation of applicable law, it will take appropriate steps to delete that information.
